What we handle
The jobs we're known for.
Our four busiest. Weekly service that just works, repairs that happen same-day where we can, equipment installs that pay back in utility bills.
- 01
Weekly maintenance
Weekly service visits all season: full water testing, chemical balancing, skim and brush, vacuum, basket emptying, equipment check, and a quick written note on anything that needs attention. Your pool is swim-ready every weekend without you thinking about it.
- Weekly chemistry & balance
- Skim, brush, vacuum
- Basket + skimmer cleaning
- Equipment check-in
- 02
Opening & closing
April openings get your pool from winter-cover to crystal-clear within a week — pull the cover, install drain plugs, start the system, balance the water, shock, and verify. October closings winterize carefully — blow out the lines, lower the water, add winter chemicals, and set the cover tight so you open to a healthy pool next spring.
- Spring opening
- Fall closing + winterization
- Cover handling & storage
- Line blow-outs + plugs
- 03
Equipment & repairs
Variable-speed pump installs, cartridge and DE filter service, gas and heat-pump heater repair, salt-chlorine generator install, automation panel setup (Pentair, Jandy, Hayward). We stock common parts on the truck so most repairs happen the same day.
- Variable-speed pump install
- Filter service & swaps
- Heater repair / replace
- Salt systems & automation
- 04
Leak detection
Water loss faster than evaporation? We find leaks the right way — dye testing, pressure testing, and electronic listening equipment for the hard-to-find ones under the deck or in the pipes. Then we propose the smallest, cleanest fix we can do.
- Dye & pressure testing
- Electronic leak detection
- Skimmer & return repair
- Underground pipe repair

Testimonials
What Atlantic Highlands says.
-
“Switched to Blue Chip two seasons ago. Pool has been crystal every Friday without me doing anything. When the heater acted up Hector was out the next morning and fixed it with a part he had on the truck. Honestly life-changing for pool ownership.”
Thomas R. Homeowner · Red Bank -
“Full renovation last fall — new interior finish, new coping, new tile. Jack walked us through every decision and the result looks like a brand-new pool. They managed every subcontractor and we had almost nothing to do but pick colors.”
Elena P. Homeowner · Rumson -
“They diagnosed a slow leak that two other services missed. Dye test, pressure test, found a loose return fitting, fixed it in a day. Weekly service has been reliable all season.”
Marcus D. Homeowner · Middletown -
“Opening and weekly service for three years. Pool is swim-ready by the first warm weekend, closed cleanly in October, no mid-season algae surprises. Highly recommend.”

FAQ
Common questions, Atlantic Highlands.
Everything we hear most about residential pool service in Monmouth County. If you'd rather just ask, give us a call.
Do you serve Atlantic Highlands?
Yes. Atlantic Highlands is on our regular Monmouth County service route — weekly visits in season, openings in April, closings in October. We cover Downtown, Scenic Drive, Atlantic Avenue, Mt. Mitchell and the surrounding area.
What does weekly service include?
A visit by a technician every week, same day each week where possible. Full water testing and chemistry balance, surface skim, wall brush, vacuum, basket and skimmer emptying, equipment pressure check, and a written note on anything that needs follow-up. Chemicals are included (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, stabilizer, salt as needed) — the only extras we invoice separately are things like algaecide after a storm or a replacement cartridge.
When do you do openings and closings?
Spring openings run April through early May — booked by priority (last year's customers first, new customers next). Fall closings run late September through mid-October. Both are scheduled in advance so you know your date before the season starts.
How does your pricing work?
Weekly service is a flat monthly rate for the season (May through September). Openings and closings are flat per-pool prices by pool size. Repair work is flat per-job after a free diagnostic for existing weekly customers (a modest trip fee for non-customers).
Do you work on pools you didn't open?
Yes — a good number of our weekly customers come from other services who opened their pool. We'll pick up service mid-season with no issue.
What equipment brands do you install and service?
Pentair, Hayward, Jandy, and Raypak are our main lines — those are the brands we recommend and stock parts for. We'll service most other brands too.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Blue Chip Pool Co. is NJ Home Improvement licensed and carries general liability + workers' comp. Certificates available before we show up for your HOA or landlord.
Do you handle leaks?
Yes, and we're thorough about it — dye test, pressure test at the equipment pad, electronic listening for underground pipe leaks, and a detailed proposal on the fix. Common ones (loose returns, cracked fittings, bead-track leaks) often get fixed same-visit.
